Medical Insurance

HEALTH INSURANCE INFORMATION

Rockwell University Administration strives to provide its students with comprehensive health information.

Rockwell University is not required to offer nor does it require its students to carry a medical insurance policy.

While medical insurance is not required, we must inform students that medical treatment in the United States could be very costly and in some cases student’s attendance can be in jeopardy, thus making it hard or impossible to maintain F-1 visa status in good standing.

While Rockwell University is not affiliated with any medical insurance company or agency, we encourage students to do their own research for medical insurance in case they decide to get coverage.

Important Reminder for International Students: Even though insurance is not mandatory, securing adequate health coverage is highly recommended for F-1 visa holders, as unexpected medical expenses can be extremely high and may affect your ability to maintain full-time student status and good visa standing.
